About Us
Blackberry Moon Produce was established in 2011 by Sandye Davis. My diversified produce farm is located in the far southeast corner of Kansas near the small community of Baxter Spring, just a few miles from the Missouri and Oklahoma state lines. The farm is women-owned and operated with the assistance of a few hard working employees and two amazing farm dogs Brutus and Luna.
Blackberry Moon has been dedicated to using organic methods of production since the start of operation in 2011. All crops produced on the farm are grown without chemicals or pesticides. We use natural fertilizers, locally sourced compost, and cover crop techniques to improve the soil and land health. Blackberry Moon is proud to have been one of the first in Cherokee County, Kansas, to install high tunnel technology for year-round vegetable production.
NOW ENROLLING FOR WEEKLY LOCAL FOOD SUBSCRIPTION
Blackberry Moon Produce is excited to launch the 2024 subscription program for a weekly box of in-season vegetables. Each subscription will contain 5-7 fresh, local, and organically grown vegetables. Subscriptions begin May 8th and continue through October 30th.
When you enroll, you commit to purchasing a minimum of four bags. All subscriptions are paid one week in advance. For additional convenience, we allow unlimited holds so you can create a subscription schedule that fits your lifestyle. Note: Vacation holds must be placed on your account by midnight Sunday before your next delivery.
Subscriptions can be picked up at the Joplin Empire Market on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at no additional cost. They can also be delivered to your home or office on Thursday between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM for an additional $5.00 delivery fee (please email your delivery address to determine if you are in our delivery zone).
Boxes will cost $25.oo per week (plus a $5 refundable insulated tote deposit).

Terms & Conditions
Signing Up – When you sign up, a secure, online member profile is created for you with your subscription, pick-up/delivery information, and account activity. By signing in, you can view and edit your account and schedule vacation holds.
Payments – Subscriptions are paid in advance of delivery. When your last paid subscription is picked up, we bill your credit or debit card for the next box. It's automatic, and you will be notified by email. We do not store your personal or financial information on our website. Farmigo runs our order site, and your information is stored securely by Authorize.net. Also, please note Blackberry Moon has weekly payment options. Blackberry Moon will not process refunds for subscription balances or unused account credits.
Vacations and Pick-Up Changes – You may put your subscription on hold by logging into your account. You are allowed an unlimited number of vacations for your convenience. Please schedule vacations before midnight on Sunday of your next delivery. Once the deadline has passed, you will be committed to receiving your box for that week. Your credit/debit card will not be charged while your subscription is on hold.
Communications – Blackberry Moon regularly communicates with you via email to inform you of account activity and alert you to important information about your subscriptions. It is your responsibility to read and respond to emails in a timely manner. You can also reach us during regular business hours at 573 289 4919.
Cancellations – Upon signing up, subscribers agree to a minimum of 4 bags. Subscriptions will continue until the end of the season or you notify us of account changes.
You may cancel your subscription anytime, giving us at least seven days' notice by calling 573 289 4919 or emailing blackberrymoonllc@gmail.com .
Privacy Policy – We do not sell, rent or give our email list, customer list, or any personal /financial information to anyone. EVER!

Our Products
Blackberry Moon grows a variety of fruits and vegetables, including everything from strawberries to leafy greens in the spring to tomatoes and broccoli in the fall. The farm also grows novelty crops such as edamame, kohlrabi, white cucumbers, and purple cauliflower.
Our products can be purchased on the farm, at local farmers markets, and at various local food hubs.
